Do you still have hope that the two of you are going to get back together?
Let’s talk about it.
You know I get it. I use to have hopes of getting back together with my daughter father until the day he made it crystal clear that we were not going to be together. I was hurt, confused, and felt like a fool because deep down I still wanted to be with this man…but God. God gave me two dreams that represented what I was to do with him and the situation which was let him go!
God later revealed to me his season in my life was up. He already served his purpose and it was time to move forward in love and let that period of my life go.
As you continue to hold on to hope, hope that the two of you will one day get back together, hope that he will one day desire to be apart of his child life, the longer you hold up your destiny of what God has for you. See what you must realize is that he was never meant to stay in your life but pass through. He enter into your life for a reason and now his reason is up and it’s time to go.
The season my daughter father came into my life was for accountability and then later turned into a reason to give me my little blessing from Heaven, my daughter. He taught me many lessons from our relationship that I’m truly grateful for, but it’s time to close that chapter of my life and move forward.
Can you identify the reason your child father came into your life?
What lessons did you learn from the relationship?
Those individuals who are meant to stay in our life for a lifetime will stay and not leave and will continue to walk with you through the ups and down.
It’s time to let him go so that your life can go to the next level.
When you release what is in your hand, God releases what is in his hand.
Letting go is as simple as you deciding one day at a time that you will no longer ponder over this situation. Letting go is you choosing not to stay bitter, angry or feel sad over the breakup but accepting that the relationship is over and served it’s purpose. Letting go is something that you choose to do one day at a time.
